Removal of Mold-Affected Drywall
When drywall and insulation require removal, the work area is prepared, affected material is removed and contained for disposal, and the remaining surfaces are evaluated before reconstruction. The exact scope depends on the source of moisture and the condition found on site.
Cleaning & Remediation
Remediation focuses on cleaning or removing affected material as appropriate and correcting the moisture condition that allowed growth. Product use is selected for the material and job conditions, following the manufacturer label; it does not replace moisture control or physical cleanup.
Reconstruction & Finishing
After the area is ready for reconstruction, we install new drywall as needed, tape and finish seams, prime repaired surfaces, and paint to integrate the repair with the surrounding space. Matching and final appearance depend on the existing finish and site conditions.

Fiberlock ShockWave® Disinfectant & Cleaner
An EPA-registered disinfectant and cleaner used on selected projects according to its label. Product use is considered alongside material removal or cleaning, drying, and correction of the moisture source; it is not a substitute for those steps.
Zinsser GARDZ® Problem Surface Sealer
When drywall paper has been damaged by moisture but the board itself is still structurally sound, GARDZ penetrates and binds the loose, friable surface — creating a stable substrate for joint compound and paint. Without it, damaged paper will continue to delaminate under any new coating.
Zinsser B-I-N® Shellac-Base Primer
A shellac-base primer used where appropriate to seal water-related stains and odors before finish painting. Primer is part of the finish process after the affected material has been addressed; it is not used to cover active mold growth.
Sherwin-Williams Emerald® Interior Paint
A durable finish paint used on selected repaired and reconstructed areas. Finish paint is applied after the water source and affected materials have been addressed; paint is not a solution for active mold growth.
